The Empress
Tucked away amongst the labyrinth of Mill Road back streets, The
Empress is a buzzing social hotspot frequented by a delightful
mish-mash of patrons. Featuring full-to-bursting weekly quizzes
(Tuesdays if you fancy a night of rigorous trivia-testing), pool table,
dartboard and well-used boardgames; it is a veritable playground of a
pub. Micro-pigs are the star attraction of the pub garden, which
also hosts regular (would we say ironic?) hog roasts and BBQs. On
a regular night however, Itchy recommends you eat before you visit, as
the selection of ”meat or veg“ pizzas tend to taste as extravagant as
they sound.
