Ark - St Mary's Passage
The fashionistas went in two by two, hurrah, hurrah! Found just off of Market Square, Ark is one of Cambridge's few vintage shops. And with three floors crammed full of nostalgia goodness, it caters for every vintage seeker's need, whether it's clothes from a bygone decade, retro household accessories, or old-fashioned school satchels. The art deco-inspired jewellery on the ground floor will catch the eye of the magpies among us, and the baby section is definitely for the yummy mummies to coo over. That said, it is expensive, and it's very easy to lose track of what you're spending – but who can resist the twee flowery cake stands and homemade lavender soaps? Charming and quaint, Ark is well worth a visit.
