The Haunted Bookshop
Either they were unwilling to tell us, or they honestly didn't know, but despite cracking out the angle-poise lamp and our psychological profiler, no one could tell us why the Haunted Bookshop in Cambridge is 'haunted.' To us, that was far more spooky than any possible spectral activity. There's one bookcase of £2ish fiction, but mostly it's old annuals, animal reference books, and loads of kid's stuff. It's higgedly-piggledy, so take advantage of the clued-up staff - when we say 'clued-up', no-one seemed to know whether it was haunted or not– -.
