Cambridge Market has everything you need in a market: bacon sarnies, second-hand books, fresh juice, proper bread, exotic veg, cheap clothes, farmhouse cheeses, watch repairers, game and seafood, hats and jewellery, and strong, cheap coffee from the back of an espresso van. On Sundays there's a local farmers market: organic and a bit expensive, but honest-to-goodness British produce - why give all our cash to Starbucks and Sainsburys?
