Al Casbah
A small comfy restaurant on Mill Road that barbeques everything, Algerian style. Once you accept this it's actually rather good; there's a large menu, a very respectable vegetarian selection, and traditional North African cuisine. The service is professional, cheerful and friendly, and the décor authentic –your average goat-herder wouldn't look out of place. The food is particularly good, especially the mixed grill. On the down side having a barbeque inside does have its drawbacks; it can get very hot and smoky, especially as this is a small restaurant with a low ceiling. It can also get very busy, so you're advised to book in advance.
