Saffron Brasserie

The biggest of the city's four main Indians, the Saffron Brasserie- no, no idea why it's called a brasserie, either... - is one of the best as well. Misses out on the weekend wideboy crowd, and so has its own crowd of regulars, which immediately makes it move up another notch. To be honest though, being a bit different it feels a bit wrong. Sure, they've worked out the decor and atmosphere, but maybe an extra five minutes on the food would have been better? Still, what price a curry without the football chants and mindless violence?
