Cambridge has always been upmarket but River Bar + Kitchen takes the standard of dining to hitherto unchartered heights. The decor, food and bar area for drinks are superb. And although the prices are top whack, it's worth shelling out the cash or whipping out your credit card and worrying about the cost at a later date. Make sure you dress up and make the effort, because these guys certainly have. Its location beside the river means that come summer it's sure to be packing in the glossy and upwardly mobile.
