The Fountain Inn
To all intents and purposes a pub for the more mature drinker; it's referred to amongst twenty-somethings as 'that old man's pub'. The building's impressive, but on this stretch of road, sheer pub numbers dictate that it needs more than an impressive exterior to get a top rating. If you're into people spotting, prepare to be disappointed by the unassuming office workers there for a quiet pint and a scan of the paper, but if that's your nirvana then you'll slip amongst the suits nicely.
