The Eagle
One of Cambridge's finer drinking establishments. Plenty of rooms, including a no-smoking area to fence the boring ones off, an outside courtyard, and roaring open fires to warm your cockles in the winter. Make sure you check out the back room –the ceiling's covered in RAF, American Air Force and World War II pilots' signatures, just don't get in the way of anal, snap-happy tourists, clicking away with paparazzi fervour. The kind of place that's just begging to be host to an all-day session. Food: 12pm-2.30pm, 5pm-late
