The Bun Shop
From the outside this place bears an uncanny resemblance to one of those nasty council estate pubs you find littered around Essex. Never judge a book by its cover I was always told, and that's certainly true of the Bun Shop. There's a multitude of choices once you step inside. You can check out the restaurant, wine and tapas bars or just snuggle up inside the saloon bar. You'll no doubt come across 'The Oak Joke - deceased -' pun, which isn't funny –it's just a suspended punt that's clearly seen better days. Read the explanation, and laugh as heartily as if it had just fallen down and smacked you on the head or stare vacantly wondering what the hell it's got to do with buns. Tapas available every evening
