Baron of Beef
Simple, sparse pub with an extremely long bar. You get 'em all in here –hardcore drinkers scratching at the doors come 11am, students relaxing after a strenuous lecture, and daytime shoppers enjoying a stiff one after hammering the credit cards. I can think of no good reason, besides working there, why you'd want to spend a whole night in the Beef, but it's well worth a quick one on the way into town on a night out.
