Q Club
One of Cambridge's lesser known clubs, underground in more ways than one. In spite of itself, it manages to play host to some of the city's showcase events, but only because it's one of the only places independent promoters can put events on. You may end up wishing they could find somewhere else but then the promoters are probably with you on this one. Nevertheless, it does manage to attract some of London's and Cambridge's better DJs, including Simon TNT Ryan and Ed Neaves, playing everything from uplifting to dark and progressive house every other Saturday. The dance floor area's tiny but they've still managed to squeeze in a seating area for those who want to discuss the merits of breaks over beats, or any other topic guaranteed to cut a conversation dead well before it's started.
