This is a strange one. It's tiny, can be hired out, acts like a club, but calls itself a bar. For years it was known as Route 66, and a place where you could skin up in peace, but now no one's quite sure what it's known for. It does host a dedicated indie night, and is one of the few places you can hear electronica. Even more interesting are the bar prices, drinks are more expensive than most class A's, so, either get it in beforehand or bring a heavy wallet. Still, you could do much worse for a night out, and judging by the queues outside Fifth Avenue, a lot of people do.
