Man on the Moon
Some people may claim that rubbing up against grungy types in the back room of a pub isn't their idea of fun. But put on a samba band, fill it with writhing scantily dressed bodies and it's a whole different ball game. All types of music get a look in at the Man on the Moon, from Irish and folk, to salsa, ska, dance and punk. Bad mixing may sometimes spoil the acoustics, but with fewer and fewer live venues in Cambridge, we need to dispel the idea that this is just being a sweaty hangout for crap local bands.
