There are loads of bars to go to… how is this one different?
Light Bar’s creative decor and eclectic drink list makes this place stand out. It’s stylish and cosmopolitan, but the atmosphere is relaxed enough that you don’t have to stick your nose up in the air to get in the door. They have all the standard drinks, plus dozens of their own inventive cocktails, martinis and shooters.

What about food?
Light has turned the ground floor into a restaurant, serving inexpensive food in the same stylish and casual ambience as the rest of the bar.

And music?
Drop by on the weekend and you’ll be treated to two of Cambridge’s finest DJ nights. Steve Reed and Ben Saunders of Black Wax Records take over Friday nights with a mix of dance, jazz and soul, and Saturday nights showcase a blend of soul and funk.

So when should I show up and how much is it going to set me back?
Mondays to Thursdays from 7pm – 11pm, whilst Friday and Saturday nights run until 1am. Plus, it may look expensive but the beauty’s also in the price - a bottle of the house wine will only set you back £11.75. So stop fighting the crowd at wherever you usually lurk and come linger over the cool atmosphere and extensive drink list – just don’t tell everyone.
